  14. The "Europe!" software package is a fun and colorful way to become
  15. fluent in basic European geography.  It is effective for both children
  16. and adults.
  17.  
  18. The "Europe!" software package may freely be copied or sold, by anyone,
  19. to anyone, any number of times, without royalty, to or from any machine
  20. or disk, for any reason.  Please pass it along to friends, local schools,
  21. or others who can benefit from its use.  Please provide this latest 
  22. version of "Europe!" to others that may have an older version.  You may
  23. not reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble this software.

  25. Although the "Europe!" software package is a complete product in itself,
  26. it also serves as level 1 of the "Around the World!" software package.
  27. Further information on this software is available by selecting "INFO"
  28. when you exit the "Europe!" game package.  If you do not wish to see
  29. this information, simply select "exit" at that time.

  31. "Around the World!" is in use in schools and other training facilities 
  32. in the United States, Europe and Australia, and is in use on home 
  33. computers all over the world.

  36. INSTALLATION AND STARTUP
  37.  
  38. To install the "Europe!" software package you only need 
  39. to copy a single file called "eurowin.exe" to your hard drive.  
  40. You can use the Windows "File Manager" or the DOS "copy" command for 
  41. this purpose.
  42.  
  43. Next set up a program item using the program manager "File / New" 
  44. menu selections.  To encourage usage, we recommend installing the 
  45. file in a "Games" program group.
  46.  
  47. To start the software, simply double click the provided World icon,
  48. or use other Windows methods for starting a program.  You can also 
  49. run the software directly from your diskette or floppy drive if 
  50. preferred.

  52. You may also wish to copy this document file "eurowin.txt" to your 
  53. hard drive.

  55. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
  56.  
  57. "Europe!" requires a 100% compatible IBM computer, Windows 
  58. 3.1 or later, 1 Mb of free RAM, a VGA monitor or better, and a mouse.  
  59. The software was tailored for 640 X 480 monitor resolution (standard 
  60. VGA).

  62. This software package contains four European geography quiz games:
  63.  
  64.     1)  countries,
  65.     2)  capitals,
  66.     3)  exports,
  67.     4)  major geographical features.
  68.  
  69. The software contains on line help:  select the ??? icon wherever
  70. it appears.

  72. Torpedo Software will send you a copy of "Around the World!" with your
  73. registration of "Europe!".  The cost is $14, or the equivalent in your
  74. currency.  See the "INFO" section when you exit "Europe!" for payment
  75. instructions, and for ordering information for countries outside the 
  76. USA. For orders outside the USA (except Canada), please include $5.00 
  77. shipping and handling.  You can use the file "order.txt" to order the 
  78. software if you wish.  Please note that "Around the World!" is not 
  79. shareware, but copyrighted software.
